How to help us

We have several ways that you can support this run and help us serve our local communities! Attending the ride and bringing toys and food is one of those ways, but you can also deliver toys and food to locations that are collecting them. There are several locations with donation boxes for us, including stores, bars, and politicians. We’ve been posting these locations on our Facebook page, so feel free to check our page to see where you can donate your toys and food.

And speaking of donations, you can also donate to the Toy Run financially. Using this link, you can go to our Square site and choose the amount of money you would like to donate to help us fund our run:

We also need volunteers to handle the Toy Run, including setup, teardown, traffic, and other responsibilities. If you can help us out, check out our volunteer page below and make sure to contact us about how you want to help!

We hope that you’ll make it to our run and give back to our local communities!

Call to Action: Oppose IL Helmet Mandates!

Illinois is facing the first mandatory helmet bill in over a decade! The bill, created by State Representative Daniel Didech, is HB5620. Below is an excerpt (the language added by the bill is underlined):

“The operator of a motorcycle, motor driven cycle, or
moped and every passenger thereon shall be protected by a motorcycle helmet and glasses, goggles, or a transparent shield.”

If Representative Didech gets his way, riders will lose the freedom to decide when it comes to safety gear. If you oppose riders losing this freedom, please head over to abate-il.org/helmet to learn about filing slips to oppose this bill.

You can also help us with our efforts to preserve motorcycle rights by becoming an ABATE member.
